1st to clarify why I write this essay. I have been betting on the internet or at land based casinos for a great many years. I have learned, the dependency can take a hold of you and you won’t even realize it up until you are flat broke. Particularly if you’re on a winning streak. I’ve gone through countless tens of thousands of dollars in a very short period of time and still on occasion, I will go too far. It appears you are just having a blast until you decide to pay attention to your defeats and the guilt settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can get it back" constantly. It doesn’t works. Then you feel sick in your gut and the harder you try the quicker you lose.
When you see that you are up, remain on the UP! When you begin to lose, don’t say to yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and again and again, believe me, this concept RARELY ever works. Say you are betting on slots, have an amount put aside prior to starting your play. Don’t exceed that limit, regardless how captivating. If you happen to succeed, put that in a different canister. Do not risk your wins no matter what. As soon as you have played through your primary set limit, call it a day. Head out, regardless if it’s on the web or at a land based casino, don’t stay around. Always keep in mind, there will be another day, a different time.
Always remember, betting is supposed to be exciting not exhausting, sickening work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t afford the loss, do not even start.
